Raising funds
How we have raised funds recently:
· Sponsored 40 mile rowing race along the River Thames from Radley (near Oxford) to Henley
· Collecting money for local worthy causes, taking Santa’s Christmas Carol Sleigh around local streets, particularly to families with young children
· Raising money for Windsor MENCAP at their black tie, candlelit speaker dinner in the Windsor Guildhall
· Collecting money for WAMSAD whilst pushing a wheelchair from Maidenhead to Windsor.
Distributing funds
How we have distributed funds:
· Providing after hours Christmas shopping for Windsor pensioners at Woolworths, with the Salvation Army Band accompanying local Girl Guides singing carols
· We have also supported Thames Valley Adventure Playground
· Providing a prize at Windsor Girls School for serving the community
Other local community projects:
· Driving a minibus regularly for Windsor MENCAP
