...to Area 14 athletes on a great NSW victory, returning the 'Victor Ludorum' to the East Midlands for the first time since 2005. (Welcome home Vic!)

...to all who participated in another great weekend of Round Table fun, camaraderie, sport and merriment.

 

Over 750 Active, Prospective and Ex Tablers attended NSW2008, combining to create an atmosphere that made the event hugely enjoyable for everyone.

 

Chairman: On behalf of the NSW2008 executive team, I'd like to express our gratitude to all those who helped us run NSW2008 including the dozens of stewards from Area 14 Tables and 41 Clubs, the gorgeous Area 20 Ladies Circlers and staff at the University of Nottingham and East Midlands Conference Centre.

 

Finally, I'd like to offer sincere thanks to my FANTASTIC executive team; 22 Tablers and Circlers who invested many hundreds of hours of their time in an effort to create something special that you could enjoy and remember as a great Tabling experience.

 

Men and women of Sherwood, you were quite simply MAGNIFICENT.

What next?

 

NSW2009 will be held in Colchester at the University of Essex Campus between 4th and 6th September 2009. This event - The Gladiator Games - will be organised by a team from the mighty Area 33 - a Round Table area with a long and proud history of sporting achievement, gladiatorial combat and organising really good stuff.
