Rafters Go Ape!

   until NSW2008 opens!

The White Water Rafting Option has been cancelled, BUT we have a GREAT alternative option for you!

With dangerously high river levels on the Trent, The National Water Sports Centre have been forced to cancel our rafting sessions on Friday at NSW2008...

However, we are able to offer a fantastic alternative to those with a thirst for adventure and thrill... we invite you to GO APE in Sherwood Forest!

The Go Ape! experience

Climb the trees and slide across high wires, crawl through tunnels, cross rope bridges, walk the planks and zip down to the ground!
Go Ape is an award-winning high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, tarzan swings and zip slides... all set high up in the tree tops. Providing a fun day out with friends, you'll be fitted with a climbing harness and given instruction before trekking from tree to tree high above the forest floor.  Split into a number of different sections, the experience takes approximately 2.5-3 hours to complete but may vary depending on how many people are up in the trees.

Those who had booked on to White Water Rafting at NSW have the opportunity now to request a FULL REFUND of their package, or request a partial refund and transfer to Go Ape (cost: £30.00) including transport to and from NSW HQ at University of Nottingham Campus.

NSW Chairman Will went round the Go Ape course last week and said "this is definitely the most fun you can do with your clothes on!"

The start times at Go Ape are 3:00pm or 3:30pm so there will be just one coach leaving the University Campus in Nottingham at 1:45pm (its only about 35 mins journey but we cant afford to be late for the sessions so we're leaving early).

Alternatively, you can make your own way there. Click here for a map
