Stokesley & District Round Table are  part of the National and International Association of Round Tables.

We are twinned with other tables from around Europe by our Table Number : 1127.

These include Gislaved (Sweden),  

Norderstedt (Germany ),

Villeneuve sur Lot (France )

and Haaksbergen (Holland ). 

Each year around May we have an International Meeting which is themed by the hosting table.

In 2008 the event was held at Stokesley with the theme "The Roaring Twenties". At this event our Guests from Norderstedt,Germany, introduced their theme for 2009. Movie Star. This will be held on the weekend of 22nd to 24th May 2009.

The event takes place over a weekend with Tablers and their partners starting on the Friday night with small  "House Parties" of about 10 - 15 people. Then usually this will be followed by meeting at a central point to continue the partying. The Saturday will usually involve spending the day as a group sightseeing and being introduced to some of the local "beverages" and other entertainment. The Climax of the weekend is the Saturday night Euro meeting. This is a fancy dress party along the lines of the theme for the weekend with each table doing an act again based on the theme of the weekend.
