Welcome to Thornbury Round Table
2009 is our 50th Charter, and on 19th September we'll be celebrating:

A common misconception is that Round Table is all about charity work. Although this is part of what we do, we actually spend at least 80% of our time on other activities. Recent examples are: charity boxing night, police visit, go-karting, pot-holing, boules, greyhounds and kayaking.

For the most recent activities planned for the year, please see our calendar - we meet on the evenings of the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.
We also get involved in a number of activities with other tables in the area, such as the Brickworks challenge, which was won last year by Thornbury (see photo)!

Whilst it may seem time-consuming to be in Table, all members do as much or as little as they are able to. We are all very busy people, and we all know family and our jobs come first, so we know not everyone will be at every event. All we ask is that you aim to come along to 15 or so of the 24 events we do each year.
Please have a look around the site, especially the getting involved page if you are looking to join.
