February 2010 - A further 5 new members were inducted into the rapidly growing Wallington & Carshalton Round Table.

February 2010 - Wallington & Carshalton Round Table hold their annual reunion of Past Tablers with the ex Mayor of Sutton as their guest speaker.

January 2010 - Wallington & Carshalton Round Table induct their latest member. 2009 was a record year for new members and 2010 looks set to be better still.

January 2010 - Ian, Wallington & Carshalton Round Table Chairman donates to Sutton Mencap 3 specially made Tricycles.

January 2010 - Wallington & Carshalton Round Table donate all the proceeds of the 2009 Carshalton Fireworks Display to local charities. These charities include local branches of Mencap, Alzheimers and Cystic Fibrosis, plus donations were made to lcoal Scout Groups, Sea Cadets, Radio St.Helier, St.Johns Ambulance and many more! We believe that over the 50+ years of running this display that we have donated, in todays money, somewhere near to £1 Million, to local charities.

November 2009 - Wallington & Carshalton Round Table host one of the largest charity fireworks displays in the UK. This diplay, put on for the public to raise money for local charities, was voted by Sainsbury Magazine as one of their Top 5 UK Fireworks Displays in 2009.

October 2010 - Wallington & Carshalton Round Table induct a new member who, as he joined closest to the fireworks display gets the privilege of building the guy for the bonfire.  (He subsequently went on to build a 10 foot + guy which was one of our tallest ever!)

June 2009 - Carshalton Carnival, of which Round Table are one of the three key hosts, succesfully entertained thousands of local people wiht stalls, displays, fun fair and of course the Carnival Queen parade.

May 2009 - The Mayday Fayre was a stunning success, despite the traditional Bank Holiday weather, as we sold over 600 candy floss. (Hopefully they weren't all sold to the same 5 kids!) 

April 2009 - Tim, from Wallington & Carshalton Table, last years W&C Chairman becomes Round Table Chairman for London & Surrey.

March 2009 - Ian proudly becomes Wallington & Carshalton Table Chairman when he was voted in by all our members in the AGM. Well done to Ian and best wishes for your year.

February 2009 - Wallington & Carshalton Round Table present c.£20,000 to local charities supporting children and young adults. Recipients included Royal Marsden Childrens Unit appeal, MERU, Open Door, Helpp, Cricket For Change, Radio St.Helier, St.Johns Ambulance, Scouts and more.
